The Green Edge is Brisbane’s original vegan café, restaurant, and grocer — a vibrant space built on ethical and sustainable values. We’re looking for a reliable and positive Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team on a casual basis. Previous experience working in kitchen required.

The Role

You’ll play a vital role in supporting our kitchen and café operations — keeping everything running smoothly and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Hours:

- 15-30 hours per week
- Weekday and weekend shifts
- Would need to be available between 9am-7pm Monday to Wednesday, 7:30am-10pm Thursday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Complete end of day kitchen close clean




- Assisting kitchen staff with basic prep and cleaning tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
