Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an additional experienced Service Person on a 2/1 roster to join our team at Duketon in the Goldfields.

On a 2/1 roster, we will pay 1 flight (direct where available) to Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hobart, Launceston, Burnie & Darwin, flying with Virgin or Qantas. We now offer 1 flight (direct where available) on a 2/1 roster to various airports across Southeast Asia (e.g. Bali/Thailand/Philippines & Vietnam), Christchurch & Auckland.

You will join an existing crew of 2 Leading Hands, 14 HD Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers and a crew of Service Personnel, Tyre Fitters & Trades Assistants.

Job Offerings:

- Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term project
- $58.00 per hour plus superannuation on all hours worked
- Day/Night shifts
- 2/1 roster

Duties & Responsibilities:





- Operating & assisting with Service Truck duties
- Working collaboratively with the Workshop team with equipment servicing
- Greasing and refuelling plant & equipment across the site
- Assisting the Tyre Fitters
- Assisting with parts management and stock control
- General cleaning and housekeeping in the workshop & site area
- Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety
- Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members
- Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork

You will be working with the maintenance, service and repair of our fleet which consists of:

- Kenworths C509, C510 and T909
- Bruce Rock/Roadwest/Boomerang Trailers
- Komatsu WA500/600/900 Wheel Loaders
- Komatsu GD655 Graders
- Service Truck
- Toyota Light Vehicles

To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess and/or be able to obtain the following:

- Prior experience as a Service Person in a busy Workshop environment (FIFO/DIDO)
- A Mechanical trade qualification from any discipline (not essential)
- Forklift ticket and a Manual HR Driving License (essential)
- Be mechanically minded
- National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
- Must hold Australian working rights
