This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day presentation, cleanliness, hygiene and organisation of a busy food manufacturing facility. Working closely with the Facilities Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and supporting the smooth functioning of our facility.

- Washing and sanitising all production equipment, utensils, and accessories according to food safety standards and company procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of dishwashing areas, including floors, walls and work surfaces
- Operating commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting cleaned items for damage or residue and reporting any issues to management
- Managing waste disposal in accordance with environmental and health and safety regulations
- Assisting with general cleaning duties throughout the facility as required
- Maintaining accurate records of cleaning and sanitation activities
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors

Experience

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, facilities, hospitality, food manufacturing or a similar setting will be highly regarded.

- Experience working within a GMP, food manufacturing or hygiene-controlled workplace is advantageous, however full site-specific training will be provided to the successful candidates.

This is a casual position with AM and PM shifts available.

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
