About The Wine Vine Hotel

The Wine Vine Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Tanunda, South Australia.

We are looking for a skilled with strong hospitality management experience, excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage all aspects of hotel operations while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and service.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Manage front office, reception, housekeeping and guest services.
- Coordinate room reservations, check-ins, check-outs and guest enquiries.
- Monitor occupancy levels, room rates, revenue and operating expenses.
- Manage online travel agency platforms and booking distribution channels.
- Supervise, train and coordinate housekeeping and other hotel staff.
- Maintain quality standards, cleanliness and hotel presentation.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues professionally.
- Manage supplier relationships, purchasing and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Prepare operational reports, budgets and staff rosters.
- Develop strategies to improve occupancy, revenue and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience Required





The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in hotel or accommodation management.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality services.
- Experience with property management systems and online booking platforms.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership, staff supervision and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of budgeting, revenue management and operational administration.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

A relevant qualification in hospitality management or business management, together with relevant industry experience, will be highly regarded.
