Galaxy Aged Care Services is seeking 10 compassionate and reliable Aged or Disabled Carers to join our growing team in Kellyville and surrounding areas of the Hills District.

Available work locations include Kellyville, North Kellyville, Beaumont Hills, Rouse Hill, Bella Vista, Norwest, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Glenhaven and Box Hill.

These are full-time positions providing high-quality care and support to older people in their homes. Each successful applicant will work 38 hours per week and may be assigned to a service location based on operational requirements and proximity to their residence.

Key responsibilities:

- Assisting clients with personal care, showering, dressing and grooming
- Supporting mobility and safe transfers
- Assisting with medication in accordance with care plans and company procedures
- Preparing meals and supporting clients with nutrition
- Providing domestic assistance and maintaining a safe home environment
- Offering companionship, emotional support and social assistance
- Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
- Following individual care plans and reporting changes in clients’ health or wellbeing
- Completing progress notes and other required documentation
- Working professionally with clients, families,



nurses and other care professionals

Requirements:

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or an equivalent qualification; or at least 12 months of relevant full-time work experience
- Experience providing personal care and support to older people
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current National Police Check
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Good spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
- A respectful, reliable and person-centred approach

- Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience
