Labourer – Pest Control

Casual Employee with full time hours | Wagga Wagga

We are a local, family-owned pest control business servicing Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking labourer to join our team as a casual employee on full time hours. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid of hands-on work, is willing to learn and can work well as part of a small team.

You don’t need to already be qualified in pest control. We’re happy to train the right person, however you will need to be willing to complete the required pest control training and certification when required.

The role will include:

- Assisting with general pest control and termite work
- General labouring and hands-on work
- Setting up and packing away equipment
- Working in roof spaces, under houses and outdoors
- Installing and checking rodent bait stations
- Travelling to jobs around Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas
- Keeping equipment and work areas clean and organised
- Following safety procedures

This is a Casual position, with full time hours and overtime available. There may also be some Saturday work when required.

The appropriate person will be employed on a trial basis at first.

What we're looking for:

- Current Driver’s Licence
- Police Check, or willing to obtain one
- Working With Children Check, or willing to obtain one
- Willing to obtain pest control certification
- Reliable and shows up on time
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Happy to work outdoors and in different environments
- Able to follow instructions and use initiative
- Friendly and respectful when dealing with customers
- Available for overtime and Saturday work when needed

Previous labouring, trade or pest control experience would be great, but it’s not essential. We’re more interested in finding someone with a good attitude who is reliable and willing to learn.

We’re a small family-owned business, so finding someone who fits in well with our team is important to us. For the right person, there’s plenty of prospect to learn the industry, gain qualifications and grow with the business.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please apply through INDEED with your resume and a little bit about yourself.
