About Coastal Dental Care Banora Point

We're your local family practice in the Banora Point Shopping Village, on the corner of Leisure and Darlington Drives. It's a four-surgery practice with a friendly team of dentists and support staff, and a lot of our patients bring the whole family. We're part of Coastal Dental Care, a dentist-owned network of 18 practices across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, so you get a close local team with a bigger network behind it.

About the role

This is a full-time all-rounder role. Most of your week is either on steri or chairside with our dentists, and you'll also cover the front desk and. Four surgeries keep the book busy, so the person who does well here reads the day early, moves between the chair, the desk and steri without fuss, and makes sure patients feel looked after wherever they meet you.

What you'll be doing

- Setting up and closing treatment rooms and the steri room each day
- Assisting our dentists chairside: instruments, materials, suction and processing digital X-rays
- Cleaning, packaging, sterilising and tracking instruments to our infection control protocols
- Greeting patients, checking them in and out, and managing the appointment book in D4W
- Answering phones, taking payments and rebooking patients before they leave
- Keeping surgeries stocked and flagging supplies before they run low

What we're looking for

Essential

- Experience in a dental practice, both chairside and on the front desk
- Sound knowledge of infection control and sterilisation
- Warm and confident with patients, in person and on the phone
- Organised and steady,



and happy to switch roles during the day
- Willing to keep your infection control and first aid training current

Preferred

- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
- Experience with Dental for Windows (D4W)
