Chouquette Bakery located in Canungra, is looking for a motivated Bakery & Pastry Assistant to join our team.

The role mainly involves assisting with daily bread production and baking, as well as helping our pastry chef prepare French pastries and other baked goods.

Main Responsibilities

- Assist with bread preparation, shaping and baking.
- Help with daily bakery production.
- Assist with pastry preparation and production.
- Prepare ingredients and organise the workspace.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
- Support the bakers and pastry chefs with daily tasks.

Requirements

- No previous baking or pastry experience required.
- Must be comfortable and confident working in a kitchen.
- Willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Available for early morning starts (3 am).
- Weekend availability is required.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
