Job description: 40+ hours per week - 5 days per week - Supervisor Role

Must be available 4:30am starts - 2pm

You'll be part of a nationwide team delivering critical services to some of Australia's largest retail brands inside their distribution centre. The specific duties of the Battery Change Operator include -Safely changing and maintaining forklift batteries in a warehousing environment to ensure operational efficiency and limit downtime for clients. You'll be working as part of a team, finding ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. To excel in this role, you'll have a general knowledge of plant and equipment within a storage and warehouse environment. Previous experience in storage and warehousing environments is favourable but not necessary.

Skills

- High Level of attention to detail.
- A sound level of written and verbal communication, numeracy & literacy.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to use a range of forklifts & MHE equipment.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment and lead a team working directly with operations manager.
- Ability to train team members

Essential

1. Current High-Risk Work License - FL (forklift) or willing to get a forklift license to be trained as Battery Change operators.

Part-time hours: 9hrs per shift (approximately) Operation is 7 days per week

Pay: part time $29.61 base rate + all penalties will be applied

Expected hours: 40+ hrs per week
