Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, fold and pack all laundry items according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Inspect all laundry items for damage or stains before packing and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.
- Keep stock of laundry supplies and report any shortages to the Team Leader
- Assist with the organization and storage of clean laundry items.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
You will need:
- Previous experience in a commercial laundry but not required.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM 8.00am to 6.00pm and some weekends from 6.00am - 2.00pm
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and be fit.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and able to work well in a team.
- Must be reliable and honest
- Open availability and understand and read English documents and processes.
- Be able to work fast paced and be reliable for shifts .
