About the Role

HoverCo Building Services is looking for a motivated Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to join our team on a temporary 6–8 week basis, with the potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate.

We specialise in residential renovations and Class 2 apartment projects across Sydney's Northern Beaches, North Shore and surrounding areas.

This position would suit someone currently studying or recently graduated in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related field, or someone with practical construction experience looking to transition into project management.

If you have previous on-site experience as a Carpenter, Leading Hand, Foreman or Site Manager and are looking to get off the tools and move into project management, we would particularly like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with project coordination and programming.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Organise and schedule trades.
- Assist with purchase orders and material procurement.
- Track variations and project documentation.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with Site Managers.




- Assist with project administration and reporting.
- Help manage multiple active residential renovation projects.
- Assist with quality control and construction compliance documentation.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Organised, reliable and proactive.
- Confident communicating with trades, suppliers and clients.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Familiar with residential construction processes.
- Comfortable working both in the office and on-site.
- Keen to develop their career in construction project management.

Previous construction or on-site experience will be highly regarded.

Experience with Buildxact, Microsoft Project or similar construction management software would be advantageous but is not essential.
