The Client Liaison Officer is responsible for the collection and delivery of clients' vehicles following an accident, as well as the delivery and collection of replacement hire vehicles. The role focuses on providing a professional and reliable client experience while ensuring all vehicle handovers, collections and associated paperwork are completed accurately and efficiently.

The Client Liaison Officer reports directly to the Operations Manager and carries out daily duties and instructions as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Picking up and dropping off clients' vehicles at designated locations, including repairers, homes and workplaces.
- Delivering hire vehicles to clients and collecting them when required.
- Conducting professional vehicle handovers and ensuring clients understand the relevant documentation.
- Obtaining client signatures on all required hire agreements, collection forms and other relevant paperwork.
- Checking all documentation for accuracy and completeness before finalising handovers.
- Inspecting vehicles upon collection and delivery, noting any existing damage or discrepancies.
- Maintaining punctuality and adhering to allocated collection and delivery schedules.
- Communicating professionally and courteously with clients throughout the collection and delivery process.
- Following instructions and daily duties provided by the Operations Manager.
- Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and responsible handling of company and client vehicles.
- Immediately reporting any issues, delays, vehicle damage or client concerns to the Operations Manager.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager, who is responsible for overseeing daily operations, allocating duties and providing direction and support as required.

Essential Role Requirements

- Current, valid Australian driver's licence.
- Confident and competent driving a range of vehicles, including automatic and manual where required.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
- Strong punctuality and the ability to consistently meet allocated delivery and collection times.
- Professional presentation and a customer-service-focused attitude.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail when completing paperwork, checking vehicle condition and obtaining client signatures.
- Ability to follow operational instructions and report directly to the Operations Manager.
- Ability to work independently, manage allocated tasks and demonstrate accountability.
- Physically capable of assisting with vehicle handovers, inspections and handling vehicle keys and documentation.
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy for communicating with the Operations Manager and completing digital paperwork where required.
- A reliable, responsible and safety-conscious approach to driving and handling vehicles.

Desirable (not essential):

- Previous experience in vehicle delivery, accident replacement hire, car rental, automotive or customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with vehicle condition reports, hire agreements and vehicle handover procedures.
- Knowledge of Melbourne roads and surrounding suburbs.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
