BAKE'D Sydney is coming to Wetherill Park!

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our exciting new location.

BAKE'D Sydney is a fast-growing hospitality brand specialising in contemporary breakfast, brunch, signature pancakes and premium desserts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Head Chef to build and lead a new kitchen team, take ownership of daily operations and grow with our expanding brand.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all daily kitchen operations.
- Recruit, train and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
- Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation meet BAKE'D standards.
- Manage food costs, stock ordering, portion control and wastage.
- Oversee kitchen rosters, labour costs and productivity.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure efficient service during busy breakfast and lunch periods.
- Work closely with the Store Manager and Operations Team.
- Support the successful setup and launch of our new store.

What We're Looking For





- Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy café or restaurant.
- Strong breakfast and brunch experience is essential.
- Proven leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Excellent understanding of food costing, inventory and labour management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Passion for food quality, consistency and teamwork.
- Availability to work weekends.
