About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Supervisor to join a major Tier 1 construction project in Perth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising subcontractors, managing daily site activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and assisting with short-term construction programming.

This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong communication, organisational skills and experience working within Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors across the project.
- Manage daily site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
- Assist with developing and implementing short-term programmes, including 2–4 week lookahead schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractor sequencing, work fronts, labour and material requirements.
- Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site coordination meetings.
- Assist with site safety management, including SWMS compliance, permits, inspections and hazard identification.
- Monitor workmanship, quality control, ITPs and construction specifications.
- Identify and resolve site issues, clashes and programme constraints.
- Manage defects, punch listing and close-out of outstanding works.
- Maintain accurate daily site records, progress updates and subcontractor reporting.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers and site management to achieve project milestones.

Essential Requirements





- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor on commercial building projects.
- Previous experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 principal contractors.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, trade sequencing and site coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts simultaneously.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, site safety procedures and Tier 1 compliance requirements.
- Experience with short-term programming, progress tracking and lookahead planning.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Construction White Card.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Competent with site reporting and construction management systems.

Highly Regarded

- Relevant trade background or building/construction qualifications.
- Experience with Procore, Aconex, HammerTech or similar systems.
- Working at Heights and EWP qualifications.
- Experience managing project completion, defects and handover stages.
- Current First Aid certification.
