Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, reliable and professional Support Worker/Carer who genuinely enjoys helping people live independently and confidently in their own homes and communities.

We are looking for someone who is patient, respectful, dependable and able to build positive relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. Previous experience in disability support, aged care, home care or community services is highly regarded.

Ideally, candidates will have a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or a related field, along with current First Aid and CPR, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain the required checks.

A current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are highly desirable, as the role may involve community access, appointments, shopping and transport assistance.





Great candidates will be comfortable assisting with a range of supports including personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, community participation, companionship, transport and respite care.

We especially value candidates who are adaptable with availability, communicate well with clients and families, complete documentation professionally, follow care plans and maintain client dignity, privacy and choice at all times.

Care Vanta services clients across Melbourne, particularly the northern and western suburbs, so applicants who are available to travel within these areas are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $26.44 – $52.98 per hour
