An chance waits for a Personal Care Worker - Medication reporting to Director of Nursing. The position is Full time availability with flexible days and is responsible for Medication Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

· Medication Administration

· Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff of the organisation

· Participates in the development and evaluation of care plans to improve resident’s care in
consultation with residents and their representatives.

· Work closely with RN and be able to report changes in Resident Health conditions

· Maintain and update Resident Record

· To assist with daily activities of the Residents

· To maintain up to date knowledge on AN-ACC,



accreditation process, new practices, and
procedures

· Be able to liaise with third party providers including medical officers, dentists, podiatrist
etc.

· Have an excellent communication skill and have high level of documentation.

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

· Attained Certificate IV in Aged Care with Medication Competency

· Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Administrating Medication

· Strong attention to detail

· Possess computer skills

· Skills and knowledge required to complete a Care Plan documentation

· Excellent time management skills

· Effective communication skills both written and verbal

· Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $37.00 – $39.00 per hour
