Grocery / Retail Store Assistant

Must have Leadership Skills / Self Motivated / Eye for Detail / Well Presented and able to work in a fast pace environment.

Some Level of Computer Skills to be able to Place and Received Orders in Grocery, Fresh, Dairy and Liquor, while Maintaining Stock Control of products across the store.

The ability to be a Team Leader / Player, Self Motivated and willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas, methods and changes when presented to them.

Having a previous experience in:

- Merchandising Displays and Presentation of products to maximise sales would be highly regarded as well maintaining a well presented clean tidy store.
- Retail Fresh / Grocery and or Liquor Outlets
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain one) for liquor department duties.
- Food Presentation and Deli Service
- Food Handling Skills and Multitasking

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with enquiries.




- Replenish and maintain fresh produce displays to a high standard.
- Work within the deli department, including food preparation, serving customers, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring product freshness and presentation.
- Work within the liquor department, including responsible service and merchandising.
- Other duties, including replenishing shelves, rotating stock, and maintaining presentation.
- Assist with duty management responsibilities, including supervising team members, ensuring compliance with store policies, and supporting daily store operations.
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organised work environment.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle transactions accurately when required.

Must be available to work some regular weekends when required.

Pay: $26.44 – $47.84 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
