Is this you?

- Healthcare or aged care worker? You already know how to care for people in their own homes. Keep that connection with clients, without the clinical load, night shifts or 12-hour days.
- From hospitality or tourism? You're quick on your feet and great with people. Swap late nights and weekends for daytime hours and the same friendly faces each week.
- A true cleaning professional? You know the work and you're good at it. You want a small team that pays properly, supplies all the gear, and gives you a workplace to call home.
- A student? Short daytime cleans fit around your timetable. Pick up 5 hours a week or more, and drop back when exams hit.

If one of these sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

About Betty's
Betty's Cleaning Co is a small, family-run residential cleaning business spanning across the Gold Coast and Logan City, named after our founder's nonna. We're growing and hiring our first team members, so you'll be getting in on the ground floor.

We clean for private clients and NDIS participants from all walks of life. Many of our clients have been with us for years, and some look forward to their clean as much for the chat as the clean.

The role

- Casual, 5-10 hours a week to start. Want more? We'll find it. Want less? That can work too.
- Recurring cleans - the same homes each week or fortnight, so you get to know your clients and they get to know you.
- Daytime work only. Our hours are 8:30am–5pm, and most cleans happen between 9am and 4pm.
- Homes across Logan, from Logan Reserve to Tanah Merah to Buccan.
- The occasional bond clean or big job, where it's all hands on deck.
- Start date: asap! You'll be working solo from late November.
- Experience not required! We'll provide training and help you learn how to develop that eye for detail.

What you get

- Award level pay to begin - $33.85/hr (including casual loading) paid weekly. Pay increases as time and skill level goes on, so $33.85 is just the beginning!
- 12% Super on top
- Paid travel time between jobs
- Kilometres reimbursed
- A full kit that's yours to look after: vacuum, caddy,

cloths, chemicals - everything you'll need. We'll come to you to restock your chemicals each week.
- $2/workday laundry allowance plus laundry detergent supplied, for washing your cloths
- Uniform and all PPE supplied
- Workers' compensation cover
- Portable long service leave - it builds up as you work and follows you to other cleaning jobs in QLD
- Paid training - full training and then some shadow shifts with us before you go solo
- Room to grow - we're expanding for the first time, so there's real opportunity as we grow

Let's be honest about the work
Cleaning is physical, and a lot of people underestimate it. You'll be squatting, bending, reaching and on your feet for most of the shift. Some days are hot, some spaces are tight, and you'll be working with cleaning chemicals.

You'll need a medium to high level of fitness. If you don't mind getting a bit sweaty, and you love that feeling after a day of hard work, you'll fit in just fine!

Our values (this is what we hire for)

- Be authentic - We're a small family business. Come as you are, whatever your orientation, gender identity, ability or culture.
- Integrity when no one's looking - You own it when something breaks, speak up when you spot a problem, and treat every home with the same care you’d want in your own.
- Valuable, old-fashioned service - You're always on time, you remember the pets' names, you arrange the stuffed animals in a full scene, rather than just in a pile
- Go above and beyond - You fluff the cushions and straighten the crooked frame without being asked.
- Work hard, play hard - You put in a proper day's work, and we make sure you knock off properly too.
- Have fun - It's cleaning,

not brain surgery. You can have a laugh and still do great work!

You'll also enjoy routine, love a chat with clients, and be happy to pitch in on the big jobs.

What you must have

- Australian working rights
- A current driver's licence and a reliable car
- A current National Police Check (or willing to get one before starting)
- Fluent spoken and written English - communication is a big deal at Betty's
- A smartphone, for your job schedule and staying in touch

What we'll help you get (if you don’t already have them)

- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check

Both are required, but don't let them stop you from applying. We'll walk you through it.

Career or stepping stone? Both are welcome
We know this might not be a forever job for everyone, and that's okay. If you're between careers, studying, or need flexibility for a while, we're happy to be part of your journey.

If cleaning is your career, we want to give you a workplace that feels like home, and grow with you.
