About the role:

RYCO Industries is seeking a reliable, experienced and motivated Delivery Driver & Warehouse Storeperson to join our team at Burleigh Heads.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining local deliveries with warehouse and stores responsibilities. You will play an important role in ensuring our products are delivered safely and on time to customers and construction sites, while also supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

The successful applicant will be comfortable driving a manual vehicle, handling materials, loading and unloading products, organising stock and assisting with general warehouse duties.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong sense of responsibility and understands the importance of reliability, punctuality and providing excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing:

Delivery & Transport;

- Safely operating company delivery vehicles to transport products to customers and construction sites.
- Completing local deliveries throughout the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.
- Loading, securing and unloading products safely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
- Maintaining delivery records and communicating with customers regarding deliveries.
- Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Representing RYCO Industries professionally when dealing with customers and suppliers.

Warehouse & Store Duties;

- Receiving, checking and organising incoming materials and stock.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Assisting with inventory control and maintaining organised storage areas.
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials.
- Handling aluminium,



glass and other architectural metalwork products safely.
- Assisting with general warehouse and workshop support duties as required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and protected working environment.

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate will have:

- A current Australian manual driver's licence (essential).
- At least two years' commercial driving experience (essential).
- Experience driving commercial vehicles, with truck and trailer experience highly regarded.
- Good knowledge of the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.
- Experience in warehousing, stores or distribution operations.
- Ability to safely load, unload and handle materials and products.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- General hand tool knowledge and practical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties.
- A positive attitude, professional work ethic and willingness to take direction.
- Strong punctuality, reliability and commitment.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

A current Construction Induction White Card is preferred but not essential.
