Due to continued project growth, Civmec is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team on the landmark Port Debottlenecking Project (PDP2). This major civil works package includes the construction of the new Car Dumper 6 (CD6) and associated infrastructure such as tunnels, vaults, positioner slabs, substations, dust scrubber facilities, and conveyor interfaces.

The Role

Reporting to the Civil Supervisors, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality concrete finishing works across a range of major civil structures associated with the PDP2 Project. Duties will include:

- Finishing and curing concrete to specification.
- Screeding, floating, trowelling and surface treatment of concrete.
- Assisting with formwork preparation and concrete placement activities.
- Concrete patching, repairs and remedial works.
- Installing cast-in items including anchor bolts and embed plates.




- Assisting with vibration, compaction and backfilling activities.
- Conducting pre-pour inspections and quality checks.
- Maintaining a solid commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

About You

To be succesfull in this role, you will possess the following:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in concreting within construction or civil projects.

- Mining, resources, or heavy industry experience (preferred).
- Current White Card.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality work.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
