Fuse Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Production workers, Machine operators and forklift operators for multiple roles with our client who is a National Leader in their field specialising in manufacturing of building products. Located in Carole Park with free onsite parking available. These roles are temp to perm after three months!
Daily overtime and weekend overtime is available, and you will need to be able to work extra hours daily in this role.

For You:

- Carole Park Location
- Building and construction industry
- Day shift = 6am – 2:30pm shift paying $36 p/hr + overtime
- Afternoon shift = 2pm – 10pm paying $41 p/hr + Overtime (training for first week on day shift)
- Weekend overtime available
- Temp to Perm after 3 months!

The Client:
A National brand specialising in the cement and timber building industries, located in Carole Park.

The Roles:
You will be working across multiple areas of the business. From Production work, hand sorting, machine operating and forklift operating through to general manual handling duties. You have a choice of the following three roles:

Duties:Role one: Hand Sorter:

- Loading timber sheets onto cutting machinery
- Manually stacking oversized sheets of timber and products onto pallets
- Loading Oversized pallets up to 6 meters long onto pallets
- Counting of stock
- Checking stock for Defects
- Quality assurance checks
- Wrapping and strapping pallets
- Pallet Jack Duties
- Matching Paperwork to orders
- Loading Oversized pallets up to 6 meters long
- Transfer products from rework area to strapping area.
- Shrink wrapping Pallets
- Palletising of goods
- Packing of goods




- Moving goods via Forklift to and from production areas

Role Two: Machine and Forklift operator

- Monitoring the flow of products into machines, and adjusting valves and controls to specifications
- Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
- Setting up and installing moulds and other machine fixtures
- Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specification
- Run production machinery and monitor plant processes.
- Enter and check process data using factory computers.
- Perform quality checks on manufactured products.
- Move materials safely using a forklift.

Role Three: Forklift Operator:

- Operating standard counter balance as well as 8 Tonne forklifts
- Loading and unloading Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis
- Loading Oversized pallets up to 6 meters long
- Transfer products from rework area to strapping area.
- Transfer products to/from outside storage area.
- Picking of products and dropping to the production area
- Picking products from pick face areas and dropping to the despatch area

All roles will consist of the following Manual Handling Duties:

- Organize and oversee the export of goods, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and delivery schedules.
- Manually moving sheets of product from production lines to pallets




- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with warehouse teams, and track shipments to ensure smooth operations and prevent delays.
- Shrink wrapping Pallets
- Palletising of goods
- Packing of goods

This is a loud, dusty and at times dirty environment to work in.

The Candidates:
To be successful in obtaining these roles you will have experience:

- Current valid LF Forklift license
- Experience loading and unloading trucks (Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis)
- Experience in oversized pallets and working with ugly freight
- Industrial manufacturing machinery operating experience
- Pick packing, palletising stock
- Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
- Experience working with oversized stock such as timber and wood products
- 8 tonne forklift operating experience is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent WHS knowledge
- An ability to commit to the role in an ongoing capacity
