SALT Human Services is seeking compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic male Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Brisbane's northern suburbs.

We have a number of opportunities available across Brisbane's northside and are looking for dedicated support workers who are passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

We're particularly interested in workers who enjoy community access, building meaningful relationships and supporting participants to achieve greater independence.

About the Role

Depending on the participant, your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting community access, social outings and recreational activities.
- Assisting with daily living skills and promoting independence.
- Encouraging participants to engage in hobbies, interests and community activities.
- Providing companionship, encouragement and emotional support.
- Supporting participants to achieve their individual NDIS goals.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with participants and their families.

Available Shifts

We have ongoing opportunities across Brisbane's northern suburbs, with a range of days and times available depending on participant requirements.

We're looking for workers who can provide consistent, reliable support and are open to building ongoing relationships with participants.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Male, with a friendly, approachable and positive personality.
- Compassionate,



patient and genuinely passionate about disability support.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to providing consistent support.
- Confident supporting participants with a variety of needs and abilities.
- Comfortable assisting with community access and everyday activities.
- A solid communicator who respects participants' independence, preferences and choices.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to take initiative when required.

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) or willing to obtain one.
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain.
- Relevant experience in disability support or a related field.
