About the Roles:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable hospitality professionals to join our kitchen team on a casual basis, with opportunities available for both a Kitchen Hand and a Commis Chef / Demi Chef.

These are great opportunities for candidates with some kitchen experience, as well as those who are eager to learn, develop their skills and build a career in hospitality.

Working alongside the kitchen team, you will help ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation, and contribute to an efficient and positive kitchen environment.

Both positions offer approximately 15–20 hours per week across 2–3 days, with shifts primarily during dinner service.

Key Responsibilities:

Kitchen Hand:

- Assist with general kitchen cleaning and maintaining a tidy, organised workspace

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans efficiently

- Support chefs with basic food preparation when required

- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

- Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards

- Support the wider kitchen team during busy service periods

Commis Chef / Demi Chef:

- Assist with food preparation and cooking across the kitchen sections

- Prepare and present dishes to the required quality and consistency

- Support senior chefs during service and daily kitchen operations

- Maintain mise en place and ensure sections are organised and ready for service

- Assist with stock rotation, storage and minimising food wastage

- Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards

About You:

- Ideally 1–2 years of relevant kitchen or hospitality experience,



although candidates eager to learn and willing to undergo training are encouraged to apply

- A genuine interest in food and hospitality

- Reliable, punctual and willing to contribute to a team environment

- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

- Flexible availability across a rotating roster, primarily dinner service

- Available approximately 15–20 hours per week across 2–3 days

- Availability across weekdays and some weekends
