We are a new and exciting contemporary bakery opening in Melbourne CBD, specialising in handcrafted viennoiserie, specialty coffee and matcha.

We are seeking experienced, motivated baristas who take pride in their craft and are interested in contributing to the development of a creative and evolving beverage menu.

About the Role

We are looking for skilled baristas and all rounders, with strong technical abilities, a high standard of service and a genuine passion for coffee.

In addition to delivering consistently excellent coffee, successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to beverage development, including seasonal coffee and matcha creations.

We value individuals who demonstrate initiative, creativity and attention to detail while maintaining consistency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve consistently high-quality espresso-based beverages and matcha.
- Maintain excellent standards in coffee extraction, milk texturing and latte art.
- Contribute creative ideas towards new beverages, seasonal specials and menu development.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and efficiency across the coffee station.
- Deliver professional and attentive customer service.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Uphold quality standards and consistency during high-volume service.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum of 2 years, proven barista experience in a busy, high-volume café or specialty coffee environment.
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation,



extraction and milk texturing.
- Excellent latte art skills and attention to presentation.
- A genuine interest in coffee, matcha and beverage innovation.
- Creative thinking with the ability to develop and execute new drink concepts.
- Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure without compromising quality.
- A reliable, proactive and skilled approach to work.

Previous experience managing a high-volume bakery or specialty coffee venue will be highly regarded.

Important Information

Our bakery will be located in Melbourne CBD, however initial training and onboarding will take place in Essendon, VIC 3040, prior to opening.

Applicants must be available to undertake training in Essendon before transitioning to our permanent CBD location.
