We are seeking an experienced, caring and reliable Support Worker to support an 8-year-old boy with complex care needs in St Clair.

This role suits someone confident in providing high-level personal care and following participant-specific procedures to deliver safe, respectful and consistent support.

Available shifts

- Tuesday: 3:00 pm–6:00 pm
- Friday: 3:00 pm–6:00 pm, alternating with 6:00 pm–11:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:30 am–5:30 pm
- School holidays: Day shifts available

Key responsibilities

- Provide personal hygiene, continence and daily living support.
- Assist with hoist transfers, wheelchair use and repositioning.
- Follow safe manual handling and transfer techniques.
- Provide bowel care, catheter care and PEG feeding in accordance with the participant’s support plans and procedures.
- Assist with positioning and pressure-area care.
- Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing.




- Maintain accurate shift notes and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the participant, family and support team.

About you

- Demonstrated experience supporting people with complex physical care needs.
- Experience in high-level personal care, hoist transfers, bowel and catheter care, and PEG feeding.
- Able to follow individual support plans and participant-specific procedures.
- Patient, dependable and respectful, with transparent communication skills.
- Available for the listed shifts.
