We are seeking an experienced, calm and consistent support worker for a vibrant 31 year old male who lives on his own with 24/7 support. He is non-verbal and communicates using a multi modal approach. He is a high needs participant who requires confident support with complex behaviours, including periods of escalation and frustration. These behaviours can vary and they do not define every shift or the participant as a whole.

Building trust and rapport is essential with ongoing training and support from a well established team. With the right approach this can be an enjoyable and rewarding role, where you can make a genuine difference in the participants daily life and independence.

Duties and Responsibilities include: Personal care, Behaviour Support, Health and Wellness, Daily Living tasks ,Documentation and collaboration with staff and parents.

Sleepover shifts may be available to the right person.

Additional shifts may be offered to the right candidate.

Pay: $48.13 – $54.31 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 22.0 per week
