Job Title: Senior Planner

Entrust Planning and Environment are seeking a Senior Planner to join their Planning Team in Oranmore, Co. Galway. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and commercially aware planning professional with sound professional judgement and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality planning practice.

This position is for a Senior Planner that is moving/returning to Ireland.

Entrust is dedicated to providing a positive working experience for all, and this role offers both hybrid and remote working conditions. Part-time or Limited Hours is also open to the right candidate.

Key Skills and Competencies

- To independently manage and deliver planning projects, maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the continuing commercial and professional growth of the company
- 5–8 years' relevant professional planning experience, preferably within the renewable energy sector
- Strong working knowledge of the Irish planning system, planning legislation and development management processes





· Candidates with relevant UK/Australian/New Zealand experience will also be considered for the role

- Strong analytical, research and report-writing skills
- Solid project management and organisational abilities
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop junior colleagues

· A recognised (IPI or RTPI) or equivalent Australian planning qualification;

- Full Driving Licence

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate a wide range of renewable energy planning applications and strategic development projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, environmental consultants, transport consultants and other specialist advisors
- Provide expert advice on Irish planning legislation, policy and development management procedures
