Experienced Feline Butler – Casual Position

Hotel for Cats – Blakehurst

We’re looking for an experienced Feline Butler to join our team at Hotel for Cats.

This is a varied, hands-on role caring for our feline guests, keeping their suites beautifully clean, preparing meals, providing enrichment and making sure every cat is comfortable and well cared for during their stay.

You’ll also help with reception duties and client communication, including check-ins and check-outs and preparing photo and video updates for owners while their cats are staying with us.

To be considered, you must have previous experience working in a cat hotel, vet, cattery or animal boarding facility.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Hard working, reliable and happy to get stuck into cleaning
- Confident and experienced handling cats
- Friendly and comfortable dealing with clients
- Confident using phones and computer systems
- Able to take transparent photos and videos and provide warm, professional guest updates
- Flexible with their availability

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable in a busy environment where high standards of cleanliness and care are essential
- Available to work during the week and regular Saturdays and Sundays

This is a casual position with regular shifts available for the right person.

If you genuinely love working with cats, enjoy dealing with people and already have boarding or cattery experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply with your resume and a short note outlining your relevant cat boarding experience. If you’ve applied with us before and have relevant experience in a veterinary clinic, cat hotel or boarding facility, we’d be very happy to hear from you again.
