The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Casual Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting patients and delivering excellent customer service
- Managing appointments, bookings, and reminders (phone, email, and online system)
- Handling enquiries, private billing, payments, and Medicare processing
- Maintaining accurate patient records and general administration
- Keeping the reception area skilled and tidy
- Wearing the provided clinic uniform shirt neatly and maintaining a professional, tidy appearance appropriate for a medical clinic
- Supporting the clinical team for smooth daily operations
About You
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist (dermatology or skin cancer clinic experience highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills (phone and in-person)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Comfortable with computers and practice management software (training will be provided)
- Warm, empathetic, professional manner with a genuine interest in patient care
