About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team.
The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the workspace is clean, organised and running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and being part of a friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen benches, floors and work areas.
- Assisting chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required.
- Unpacking and storing deliveries.
- Ensuring rubbish and recycling are removed regularly.
- Following food safety, workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with general kitchen duties as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous kitchen hand experience (preferred but not essential).
