The Opportunity

As a result of the company’s continued growth, excellent opportunities are available for suitably qualified and experienced Blast and Paint Supervisor QA/QC to join our Asset Maintenance and preservation business unit in Henderson.

Reporting directly to the Project Coordinator your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise the performance of an excellent team of skilled and trained personal within our Blast and Paint Workshop and Site Based Project crew.

To be successful for this position, you must possess the following essential experience.

· Project Supervision/Planning, NACE/AMPP 2, Microsoft Projects Excel, SAP

· 10 + years’ experience in industry with 5 + years in similar role

· Competence with airless and conventional spray painting

· Competence with abrasive blast equipment

· Competent following QAQC and Safety Processes

· Experience with 2-pack paints.

· Previous site and/or workshop experience

· Marine environment experience desirable

· Experience in maintaining equipment, including pre-starts and equipment checklists





· Ability to work unsupervised within a team environment

· Flexibility with Working between workshop and Local based site work

· Efficient with following company processes

· Ability to conduct QA inspections and testing as per ITP

· Estimation knowledge and experience would be highly desired but not essential.

· Ability to create, revise and/or submit documentation such as coating reports, ITP’s, JSEA’s etc.

· Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligation

To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:

· NACE/AMPP 2 Essential

· MSIC – Current and or the ability to obtain

· Working at Heights and Confined Space

· Class C drivers’ licence

· Certificate III in Surface Preparation

· UHP Operator Ticket

· Nationally accredited Supervisor Training
