About the role

Eden Sports and Recreation Club is seeking a casual Bar & Gaming Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is based at our venue in Eden, NSW 2551, and offers flexible casual employment perfect for those seeking varied shifts and social work environments. As a Bar & Gaming Attendant, you will be at the heart of our operations, delivering exceptional service to our members and guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with accuracy and speed

- Operating gaming machines in accordance with venue policies and relevant legislation

- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, gaming floor, and associated facilities

- Processing cash and electronic payments accurately whilst following proper cash handling procedures

- Checking identification to ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol laws

- Providing friendly and attentive customer service to all members and guests

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Adhering to all health, safety, and security protocols within the venue

- Following all gaming machine regulations and responsible gambling practices

What we're looking for

- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

- Current or ability to obtain RCG gaming machine accreditation as required by NSW legislation

- Experience in bar work or hospitality service roles is not essential as training will be provided

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team





- Cash handling experience and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems

- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to casual shift work

- Excellent customer service etiquette and a welcoming attitude towards members and guests

- Understanding of responsible service of alcohol and problem gambling awareness
