RELIABILITY ENGINEER - BOWEN BASIN, CASUAL, DIDO or FIFO Brisbane

Good engineers fix failures. Great engineers make sure they don't happen again.

Provide technical leadership, engineering governance and reliability support for mechanical assets in underground coal operations. You'll own equipment performance, drive maintenance optimisation and turn data into decisions that lift availability and cut downtime - safely and compliantly.

What you'll do

· Monitor performance of underground mechanical infrastructure and fleet, and support condition monitoring programs

· Lead root cause analysis on significant failures

· Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance strategies

· Ensure work meets mine safety legislation, engineering standards and site procedures

· Take part in risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigations

· Deliver capital and sustaining projects from concept to commissioning, including scopes, specifications and business cases





· Manage contractors, consultants and OEMs

· Provide daily engineering support to maintenance and production, and track KPIs including availability, MTBF and maintenance cost

· Mentor supervisors, planners and trades personnel

Essential

· Relevant trade or Mechanical or Reliability Engineering,

· Experience in heavy Industrial or coal mining operations

· Proven RCA and reliability engineering capability, including condition monitoring and technical investigations

· Working knowledge of Queensland coal mining safety legislation

· Standard 11 - Surface and Underground

Highly regarded

· RPEQ (Queensland) registration

· Mine Supervisor S1/S2/S3 and G2/G3 risk management certification

· Project management qualifications

· SAP PM or similar CMMS experience

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - BOWEN BASIN, CASUAL, DIDO or FIFO Brisbane

Power, protection and compliance - underground, where it matters most.

Provide technical leadership, engineering governance and reliability support for electrical assets in underground coal operations. You'll be accountable for electrical system performance, statutory compliance support and safe, productive power to the face.

What you'll do

· Manage HV and LV distribution systems

· Review and maintain protection settings and coordination studies

· Support HV switching programs and isolation procedures

· Ensure compliance of substations, transformers, switchgear and protection systems

· Support implementation and maintenance of the Electrical Engineering Control Plan

· Review and develop electrical standards and procedures, and audit electrical installations and equipment

· Lead RCA on significant electrical failures and optimise maintenance strategies

· Provide technical advice on system design and upgrades, and deliver projects through to commissioning

· Mentor electrical supervisors and trades personnel

Essential

· Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade with EEM certifications

· Experience with HV/LV power systems and protection in coal mining environments

· High Voltage Switching qualification

· Standard 11 - Surface and Underground

· RPEQ (Queensland) registration

· Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (UEE42623 or equivalent) and Ex competencies

· Mine Supervisor S1/S2/S3 and G2/G3 risk management certification

· ICAM Lead Investigator

· PLC and automation, functional safety or protection systems experience

· Project management qualifications

TRADES COORDINATOR - MACKAY (LOCAL)

You're the one who turns the plan into a finished job - safely, on time and done right.

Based locally in Mackay, you'll be the link between our engineering team, site supervisors and the local contractors doing the work. You'll keep maintenance and minor projects moving and make sure every job is delivered safely and to standard.

What you'll do

· Schedule and allocate maintenance and reliability tasks across trade and contractor teams

· Communicate scope, timelines and technical requirements clearly to engineers and trades

· Oversee safety and quality of contractor work on site

· Track progress against schedule and quality standards; spot conflicts early and fix them

· Liaise between site, supervisors and trades to keep work flowing

· Prepare and maintain work order, task allocation and completion records

· Support planning of maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives

· Help improve our coordination processes and procedures

What you'll bring

· Trade qualification, or project coordination experience in a maintenance or Building construction field (electrical, plumbing, building, mechanical)

· Experience in a coordination, supervisory or team leadership role in a maintenance or engineering environment

· Solid understanding of industrial equipment, safety systems and site compliance requirements

· Confidence with scheduling tools and Microsoft Office

· Strong communication - comfortable on the phone, on site and in the office

· Organised, practical and able to juggle priorities, independently and as part of a team
