About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a growing medical technology business.
Reporting to a senior manufacturing leader, you will oversee a team responsible for the manual assembly and testing of complex electromechanical products, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, productivity and delivery objectives.
Central to your success will be your ability to coach and develop frontline Team Leaders, build an engaged and accountable workforce, and create a positive, high-performing team culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being visible on the production floor, supporting their people and driving practical improvements across manufacturing operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead daily manual assembly and testing operations
- Coach, mentor and develop frontline Team Leaders
- Build a positive, engaged and accountable team culture
- Manage employee performance and resolve people challenges
- Drive productivity, quality and on-time production delivery
- Oversee workforce planning and resource allocation




- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with Planning, Engineering and Quality teams
- Support operational improvements and manufacturing growth

Skills and Experience

- Proven production management experience within manual assembly or electromechanical manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing Team Leaders and production employees
- Strong people management capability, including performance management, conflict resolution and employee engagement
- Experience in quality-driven, regulated manufacturing environments; medical device experience highly regarded
