BWA Engineering is seeking skilled and experienced Fitters and Boilermakers for mine site work, with a 7 days on, 7 days off roster available. We also have opportunities for Workshop Boilermakers in Mackay.

Our mine site work includes refurbishments and installations on Coal Handling and Preparation Plants (CHPPs), along with general maintenance and fabrication.

We proudly service Coppabella, Moorvale, Foxleigh and North Goonyella (Centurion), providing a supportive team environment with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

What we’re looking for

- A relevant trade certificate

- A robust work ethic and pride in quality workmanship

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team





- A commitment to safe, productive work and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

For mine site roles, you’ll also need:

- Standard 11 Mining Induction

- Coal Board Medical

Highly regarded qualifications

- Confined Space certification

- Working at Heights certification

- Forklift ticket

- Franna crane ticket

- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket

- Rigging and dogging tickets
