Join and help keep essential products moving

A growing Australian wholesaler of washroom, hygiene and cleaning products. We’re looking for a capable, organized Part-Time Purchasing Officer to help ensure our customers and warehouse teams have the stock they need, when they need it.

Based at our Wetherill Park office, you’ll work closely with our suppliers, warehouse and sales teams to keep purchasing on track and inventory flowing smoothly.

What you’ll do

- Prepare and place purchase orders with local and overseas suppliers

- Monitor stock levels, sales demand and incoming shipments

- Follow up suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates and delays

- Maintain accurate purchasing and product information in our systems

- Help manage lead times, stock availability and backorders

- Liaise with freight providers and internal teams to coordinate deliveries





- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and stock planning

What we’re looking for

- Experience in purchasing, inventory or supply chain coordination

- Robust organization and follow-through

- Clear, confident communication with suppliers and colleagues

- Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers

- Comfortable using spreadsheets and business systems; ERP experience is an advantage

- A practical, positive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
