Due to increased operational requirements of some of our participants, we are looking to expand our male workforce in the Northern & Southern suburbs. We are predominantly looking for male staff in these areas. However, we will consider experienced candidates from other areas of Adelaide or experienced female candidates.

We have regular ongoing availability with these participants, so there is potential for successful candidates to pick up 5+ shifts a week & more availability across other participants.

About the role

You will be working as part of a team for our participants to support them to meet their NDIS goals & achieve as much independence and control in their life as possible. Day to day tasks will vary between participants & include the below tasks among others:

- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks.
- Transport to social outings and medical appointments.
- Assistance with medication.
- Providing person-centred care that respects individual choices.




- Upholding confidentiality, diversity awareness, and high skilled standards.
- Social engagement with the participants.

You will be available to work over a 24-hour, 7day rotating roster, including weekday, weekend and overnight shifts. However, we will try where possible to provide a regular ongoing work schedule to allow you to plan your other commitments and to provide a routine for you.

What you will need

- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or similar community services qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR - Mandatory for all staff
- Manual Handling Certificate - Required to be completed through an RTO
- Medication Administration Certificate - Required to be completed through an RTO
- NDIS Worker Screening Check - Mandatory for all staff
- Reliable car and a full South Australian driver's licence
- You are reliable and trustworthy - our clients will expect the best from you
- You are fluent in English language and have good written and verbal communication skills

Ideal candidates will have:

- Willingness & experience working with clients who display complex behaviours.
- Willingness to work passive overnight shifts
