Recruiting Partners Australia is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation to appoint an experienced Supply & Distribution Manager to its Villawood operations.
This is an excellent prospect for a commercially minded supply chain professional who combines strategic planning capability with strong operational leadership and a genuine focus on continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing finished goods inventory, warehouse operations, distribution planning, outbound logistics and the performance of the warehouse and dispatch teams.

The Opportunity
This is a broad management role requiring a proactive leader who can balance inventory availability, warehouse capacity, operational efficiency and customer service expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement effective supply, storage and distribution strategies to support operational and customer requirements.
- Oversee finished goods inventory planning, stock availability, replenishment and inventory accuracy.
- Manage Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), including interstate stock transfers and future customer demand.
- Lead warehouse, dispatch and inventory control operations, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources and warehouse capacity.
- Coordinate outbound freight, transport providers and third-party logistics (3PL) arrangements.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, stock movements and potential supply constraints.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Planning, Procurement and Production to align supply with demand.
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse and distribution employees, driving accountability and high performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and strengthen operational efficiency.




- Maintain high standards of workplace safety, quality and compliance.

About You
We are seeking an experienced supply chain or distribution professional who brings a combination of operational knowledge, analytical capability and strong people leadership.

To be successful, you will ideally demonstrate:

- Substantial experience in supply chain, inventory management, warehousing, logistics or distribution operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading warehouse, dispatch or distribution teams.
- Strong knowledge of inventory planning, stock control, replenishment and distribution requirements planning.
- Experience managing freight providers, external warehousing and 3PL relationships.
- Sound working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems, inventory reporting and data analysis.
- The ability to interpret demand requirements, identify operational risks and implement practical solutions.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A commercially focused approach with the ability to balance cost, service delivery and operational performance.
- A commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement and team development.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business would be highly regarded; however, substantial relevant management experience will also be considered.
