About the role

Reliance Care Medical Centre, a Super Clinic with 25 rooms, is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Dermatologist to provide comprehensive specialist dermatology services to a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of skin, hair, and nail disorders while collaborating closely with General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, Specialists, and external healthcare providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema and dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, fungal and bacterial skin infections, hair and scalp disorders, nail disorders, and autoimmune skin diseases

- Conduct comprehensive skin examinations and assessments

- Diagnose and manage skin cancer, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers

- Perform dermatological procedures including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage and cautery, excision of skin lesions, and minor skin surgery

- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes

- Provide advice regarding skin health, sun protection, and preventive care

- Work collaboratively with the clinic's General Practitioners and healthcare team

- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions where appropriate

- Provide specialist advice and education to referring practitioners





- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the practice software system and comply with AHPRA requirements, RACGP standards, privacy legislation, and clinic policies

About you

- Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent)

- Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) or equivalent specialist qualification

- Current Specialist Registration with AHPRA

- Professional indemnity insurance

- Eligibility to provide Medicare-rebatable specialist services

- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions

- Strong procedural and surgical dermatology skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage a diverse and multicultural patient population

- Commitment to evidence-based medicine and high-quality patient care
