Digital Officer

12-month fixed-term opportunity

DevelopmentWA is looking for a Digital Officer to join our Brand and Engagement team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

Working closely with the Digital Delivery Manager, you’ll support the implementation, integration, enhancement and day-to-day operation of DevelopmentWA’s marketing technology and digital platforms. You’ll also play an important role in improving data quality, supporting business testing and system enhancements, coordinate supplier-delivered solutions and analyse digital performance

What you'll be doing

In this varied role, you will:

- Undertake functional administration, configuration and operational support for assigned marketing technology and digital platforms, including websites and CMS, CRM and stakeholder-engagement systems, email and campaign platforms, social and media channels, and analytics and reporting tools.
- Investigate and resolve functional system, workflow, configuration and data issues.
- Support the business and functional aspects of digital-system implementations, integrations, enhancements and releases, including requirements, acceptance criteria, business testing, release readiness, operational handover and transition into ongoing support.
- Work with business stakeholders, ICT teams and suppliers to understand business needs, document functional requirements and coordinate practical solutions.
- Support data cleansing, mapping, migration, validation and reconciliation, together with business testing and user acceptance testing, including identifying and documenting data-quality issues, defects and outcomes.
- Monitor website, CRM, campaign and digital channel performance and prepare reports, dashboards, visualisations and evidence-based insights.
- Coordinate with ICT, digital platform suppliers, agencies and implementation partners on requirements, deliverables, testing, releases, support documentation, operational handover, issues and improvements.
- Research emerging martech systems, platform capabilities,



integrations and opportunities for continuous improvement.

About you

We’re looking for someone who can confidently work across the functional, technical and analytical sides of marketing technology and digital delivery.

You’ll bring:

- Experience administering, configuring and supporting websites, content management systems, CRM platforms or comparable digital business systems.
- A practical working knowledge of HTML and CSS and understanding of JavaScript, along with knowledge of SEO, structured content, metadata, web analytics, accessibility and digital content standards.
- Experience supporting digital system implementations, integrations, enhancements and operational handovers, including functional requirements, business testing, release readiness and coordinate supplier-delivered solutions.
- An understanding of modern digital-platform development, integration, release and hosting arrangements, with the ability to support testing and coordinate technical resolution with ICT and suppliers.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to work with data from multiple sources and identify data quality issues.
- Experience with data cleansing, mapping, migration, and reconciliation, together with business testing and user acceptance testing.
- The ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, ICT teams, suppliers and agencies.
- Experience preparing reports, dashboards, data visualisations and evidence-based analysis.
- Strong communication, organisation and coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Experience with Simply Stakeholders or a comparable stakeholder-management or digital engagement platform would be advantageous.
