About the role

Join VACCA in supporting carers who provide safe, nurturing homes for Aboriginal children and young people. Working across our Kinship, Foster Care and Nugel programs, you will build solid relationships with carers, helping them stay connected to culture, community, and the support they need to create positive outcomes for deadly children and families.

About You

You are passionate about supporting carers and strengthening outcomes for Aboriginal children and young people. You build strong relationships, encourage connection to culture and community, and enjoy bringing people together through local networks and events. Working alongside carers and care teams, you help ensure children thrive in safe, nurturing environments while supporting quality care and program standards.

- Desirable:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community services, preferably with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
- Certificate, Diploma, and/or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Work and/or relevant field or willingness to complete relevant qualification
- Demonstrated skills and capabilities in carer-based projects
- Requirements: Valid Police Check,



a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
