Safety People is seeking an experienced Return to Work / Injury Management Coordinator for an immediate-start, 3-month temporary assignment with a well-established organisation in the disability housing and community services sector, based in Sydney's south.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a meaningful role, support injured workers and make a genuine difference while enjoying flexible working arrangements and a supportive team environment.

The Opportunity
Working closely with the WHS Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day workers' compensation and injury management activities, supporting employees across a multi-site organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing approximately 10–15 active workers' compensation claims
- Coordinating return-to-work plans, suitable duties and workplace adjustments
- Supporting injured employees and managers throughout the recovery and RTW process
- Liaising with insurers, rehabilitation providers, medical professionals and key stakeholders
- Managing complex injury cases in accordance with NSW workers' compensation legislation
- Providing injury management advice and guidance across multiple sites
- Supporting injury prevention, WHS and employee wellbeing initiatives




- Maintaining accurate case documentation and ensuring legislative compliance

What We're Looking For

- Demonstrated experience in workers' compensation, injury management and return-to-work coordination
- Sound knowledge of NSW workers' compensation legislation and RTW requirements
- NSW Return to Work Coordinator certification
- Confidence managing claims independently and engaging with a range of stakeholders
- Robust communication, organisation and case management skills
- Experience in disability services, healthcare, community services or a similar environment will be highly regarded
- Availability to commence ASAP
