With forecasts pointing towards a potential El Niño weather pattern and an increased risk of severe weather events, we are getting ahead of the curve and building a talent pool of customer-focused individuals for the upcoming CAT season.

About The Opportunities
We are seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals interested in entering the insurance industry through upcoming CAT (Catastrophe) Claims opportunities.

These roles involve supporting customers who have been impacted by severe weather events, including storms, hail, floods and cyclones.

You don't necessarily need previous insurance experience. We're particularly interested in people with strong customer service skills who enjoy helping others and are confident communicating with a range of customers.

Whether you've worked in hospitality, retail, travel, contact centres or another customer-facing environment, this could be a great opportunity to transfer your skills into a new industry.

Opportunities are expected to be offered on an initial 6 or 12-month fixed-term contract basis, with roles potentially available across NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA.

Duties:

- Manage inbound home and motor insurance claims
- Lodge new claims and gather relevant customer information
- Support customers impacted by severe weather events
- Provide guidance and updates throughout the claims process
- Assess customer needs and identify appropriate next steps
- Handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Deliver a positive customer experience during challenging circumstances

Skills & Experience

- Previous customer service experience in any industry
- Hospitality, retail,



travel and contact centre backgrounds encouraged to apply
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused personality
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle challenging conversations with empathy
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous insurance or claims experience advantageous but not essential
- Valid Australian working rights for the duration of the contract
