About the role

Customer service and sales administration are at the heart of this position. You will be a key point of contact for customer enquiries and orders, helping ensure requests are handled professionally, accurately and promptly. This is a hands-on, varied position where you will play an important role in supporting our customers, assisting the Directors and helping ensure the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly.

Key responsibilities
Answering customer enquiries by phone and email
Taking customer orders and processing sales orders and invoices
Following up customer enquiries and outstanding accounts receivable
Scheduling appointments and managing follow-ups
Maintaining accurate customer database records
Providing general administrative and office support
Assisting the Directors and other team members as required
Preparing, formatting and binding documents and advertising materials
Monitoring social media activity and responding to comments and enquiries
Managing stationery supplies and other general office requirements

About you




Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A friendly, qualified and customer-focused approach
Experience in general office administration and customer service
Positive computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
The ability to follow established systems and processes
A proactive approach to following up enquiries and completing tasks
A qualified and presentable manner
A willingness to learn new systems and develop your knowledge of our products and business
