An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Insurance Broker to step into an Account Manager position with a growing, privately operated insurance brokerage in Brisbane.

Specialising in insurance solutions for civil contractors, excavators and construction machinery, the business is looking to bring on an experienced skilled to manage an established $500K income portfolio and play a key role in the next stage of business growth.

The Opportunity
Take ownership of an established $500K income portfolio.
Manage a portfolio specialising in civil contractors, excavators and construction machinery.
Oversee client relationships, placements, renewals and claims management.
Provide leadership and support to the existing team, helping oversee day-to-day broking operations.
Implement and improve internal systems, processes and workflows to support future business growth.
Work closely with the business owner on strategic decisions while taking ownership of the broking function.
Play a key role in developing and growing the business over the coming years.

About You
Experienced Insurance Broker with a solid background in commercial broking.




Confident managing a portfolio and building long-term client relationships.
Solid technical knowledge across general insurance, ideally with exposure to civil contracting, construction or heavy machinery.
Comfortable managing claims and overseeing the end-to-end broking process.
Previous experience in a senior broker, team leader or management capacity would be highly regarded.
Someone who enjoys building processes, mentoring others and taking ownership of a growing operation.
