About the Role

We are seeking an organised and empathetic

Medical Receptionist

to join our busy clinic. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in managing the front desk and supporting the day-to-day coordination of patient care to ensure the clinic runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities

Front desk

R eception

duties, manage incoming telephone enquiries in a skilled manner. Coordinate appointment scheduling , manage patient recalls, and maintain active waiting lists. Process payments

and navigate Medicare billing and claims efficiently. Maintain accurate





and up-to-date patient records within our practice management system. Liaise with hospitals , specialists, referrers, and external healthcare providers. Support day‑to‑day

clinic coordination to ensure seamless patient care. Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a

Medical Receptionist

or within a healthcare administration role (desirable). Strong knowledge of

Medicare processing , health funds, and billing workflows (desirable). Proficiency with

Genie practice software

(desirable). Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate, patient‑first approach. High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced workplace. Maintaining confidentiality and always adhering to health information privacy requirements. What’s on Offer
