About the Role Pack & Send Preston is looking for a versatile and motivated Retail Customer Service & Freight Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team in Preston, VIC. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can balance high-quality customer service with the technical aspects of freight logistics. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end shipping process, from initial sales inquiries to professional packaging and consignment tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately weighing, measuring, and consigning packages to ensure correct pricing and protected transport.

Utilising professional packaging techniques to secure consignments and minimise potential warranty claims.

Handling over-the-counter sales, telephone inquiries, and online estimate requests with a focus on customer satisfaction.





Tracking and tracing consignments and providing timely delivery confirmations to clients.

Managing administrative tasks and maintaining store equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.

Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with suppliers and delivery drivers.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Completion of Secondary School or a Cert IV in Retail/Business (or equivalent).

Intermediate computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Robust organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting.

A self-motivated, energetic, and punctual approach to work.

Ability to reliably commute to Preston, VIC 3072.

Work Type:

Full-time.

Shifts:

Morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, with on-call availability as required.

Training:

Access to e-learning courses and career development webinars.

Location:

In‑person at our Preston retail service centre.
