Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Canberra team on a full time basis. This is an excellent prospect for a proactive and adaptable legal support professional who enjoys variety, working across multiple teams and contributing to a collaborative office environment.

The Role Working across a range of commercial practice areas, you will provide relief secretarial support to multiple fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing legal documents and correspondence

Managing diaries, electronic files and matter administration

Liaising with clients, staff and internal stakeholders

Assisting with monthly billing and time recording

Providing reception and general administrative support as required

Coordinating meeting rooms, catering, events and office requirements

About You

A minimum of two years' experience as a Legal Secretary

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities





Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint

Experience with document management and billing systems

A adaptable, proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously
