Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Administration Assistant.

Contract: 6 months | Immediate Start

Hourly Pay Rate: $40 p/h + Super

Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support to council team

Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email

Data entry and maintaining accurate records and databases

Processing forms, applications and documentation

Assisting with document management and filing

Directing customer enquiries to the relevant departments

Updating customer information and council systems

Assisting with meeting coordination, scheduling and correspondence

Supporting the processing of invoices and purchase orders

Providing general information to residents regarding council services

Essential





2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive workplace

Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
