About Us

Hedonist is an Argentinian restaurant located in Collaroy, offering a dining experience centred around quality food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

About the Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your designated section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, quality and presentation. You will work closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth and productive service.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and organise your designated kitchen section.
Prepare, cook and present dishes according to restaurant standards.
Complete daily mise en place and ensure your section is ready for service.
Maintain consistency in food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
Monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients and minimise food waste.
Maintain a clean, organised and secure working environment.
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff.




Assist with menu preparation and daily specials when required.

Skills and Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen position.
Good cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, including HACCP.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisation and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
Work under pressure.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
